If I am over 18 years old, have been a job seeker for more than 6 months and have been compensated by France Travail (formerly Pôle Emploi) or a beneficiary of RSA and the absence of a permit represents an obstacle to my job search I can, under conditions, obtain assistance from France Travail (formerly Pôle Emploi) of a maximum amount of €1,200 to obtain my driving license.
If I have a disability , I can benefit from assistance from AGEFIPH if I need a driving license for:
- keep a job,
- to get a job.
The amount of aid is a maximum of €1,000 (or €1,300 for a modified license) and must be used to compensate for the additional cost due to my disability.
I can request assistance either directly from AGEFIPH or through my France Travail advisor (formerly Pôle Emploi).
If I am over 15 and under 26 , I can conditionally benefit from assistance in the form of a loan to finance my driving license: this is the “€1 license”.
If I am an apprentice , I can benefit from state aid of €500 to finance my driving license.
I can also find out from my department or region about the assistance they can offer to finance a driving license.
