If I am under 18 years old and alone without my family in France, I can benefit from child welfare protection . To benefit from care, accommodation and assistance from child welfare, I must report to the Child Social Assistance Service of the department in which I am, services will assess my situation to find out if I am under 18 years old.
I have the right to be accommodated throughout the duration of the evaluation of my minority by the Departmental Council.
When I am or if I am already in the care of the ASE, I have the right until I reach the age of majority to accommodation, to support from a social worker and to be educated. I also have the right to benefit from health coverage to heal me.
