Once my application for social housing filed and updated, I can take steps to be given priority in the allocation of housing if I meet the criteria for being given priority.
The steps to take to benefit from prioritization in the allocation of housing :
- If I am on the street or housed, my social worker can make a request for housing from the SIAO who can register me as a priority person to access housing if I have made a request for social housing ;
- If I meet the criteria for priority set by the departmental collective agreement or the intercommunal housing agreement, my social worker can request that I be given priority for housing allocations. ;
- I have priority if my rehousing is recognized as “Priority and Urgent” under the right to housing enforceable following a DALO appeal.
