If I am a job seeker over 26 years old, I register with the France Travail agency (formerly Pôle Emploi) from home in my department (the one where I live or the one where I am domiciled). I can also register online on the France Travail website (formerly Pôle Emploi).
When I am registered as a job seeker with Pôle Emploi I can benefit from :
- Support in defining my professional project ;
- From an orientation towards training systems ;
- A possibility of doing internships in a company ;
- Information on job offers;
- An orientation towards an Integration Structure through Economic Activity where I could benefit from a work contract and social and professional support ;
- Financial aid and remuneration for certain training periods that I carry out as part of my job search.
💡 If I have already worked in France and contributed to unemployment insurance, France Travail (formerly Pôle Emploi) ensures the monitoring of the payment of my unemployment benefits and my support in this context. If I am under 26 years old or have a disability and I am entitled to unemployment benefits, I must register with France Travail (formerly Pôle Emploi) to receive them but I can register at the same time with the Local Mission or CAP emploi to benefit from it
If I wish to receive information as part of my job search I can go to one of the employment and training information centers: I search for “Employment support” and my location on Soliguide .
