Why go to CSAPA ?
I can go to a CSAPA if I have an addiction (to alcohol, a drug, games, etc.) and I want to stop or reduce my consumption or the behavior that leads to my addiction.
The CSAPA can prescribe replacement treatments to help me stop or reduce my consumption of products.
Which professionals I can meet in a CSAPA ?
In CSAPA I can meet a doctor specializing in addictions, a psychologist, social workers, nurses, to support me in reducing or stopping consumption or behavior.
May I be accommodated in a CSAPA ?
Some CSAPAs can offer me accommodation for a period defined with the doctor to help me stop or reduce my consumption. These are residential CSAPAs. In most cases, CSAPA follow-up is done during the day and there is no accommodation offered.
